Rsb Transmissions (I) Ltd Pune

Down here in Waghuli, on the road toward Nagar, things stay pretty loud. RSB Transmissions is a big operation, and there is always something moving. You can hear the metal clanking from the gates sometimes. We are located in Ubale Nagar, which has changed a lot over the years. We make parts that go into vehicles, mostly gears and transmission bits. It’s heavy work and the floor is always busy. The shifts change, people come and go, but the machines mostly keep running. It gets pretty warm in the summer, especially near the forge areas. We don’t really do much talking during the peak hours because you can’t hear much anyway. We just follow the blueprints and check the parts as they come off the line. Sometimes things don’t go perfectly, and we have to restart a batch or adjust the settings on a lathe. That’s just part of the job. Most of us live nearby or commute from the city side of Pune. The traffic on Nagar Road is a nightmare in the evenings, so everyone tries to leave right on time if they can. We aren't an office full of people in suits; we're mostly guys in uniforms with grease on our hands. It's steady work, and we’ve been at it a long time. We have a small shed for parking the bikes out front. It usually fills up by eight in the morning. Rain or shine, the work doesn't stop.
