We are set up at number 12 on Khondhwa Kaggadaspura Main Road. The shop is usually full of the sound of engines revving and the clinking of metal wrenches. It’s a greasy place, no matter how much we try to mop the floor. We spend our days leaning over engine bays or tucked under cars on the lifts. It’s mostly about the mechanical side of things, checking sensors and adjusting the way a motor runs. The Main Road outside is always humming with traffic, which fits the vibe of the shop. We have a lot of spare parts lying around in bins—gaskets, spark plugs, and random bolts that we might need someday. It’s not a shiny showroom. We have old calendars on the walls and a thin layer of soot on the windows. Most of the time, our hands are black with oil, so we don't touch the paperwork until the very end of the day. We get all sorts of vehicles coming through, some just needing a quick check and others that stay with us for a week. We like the challenge of a motor that isn't behaving right. It takes a lot of standing around and listening to the idle. When it gets too loud, we just step outside for a minute to breathe. It’s just a regular garage where we focus on the machines and try to stay out of the sun.
