Royal Extusion System Pvt. Ltd. is based at Highway Towers, right along the Pune Mumbai Highway in Chinchwad. Being so close to the highway means there is a constant hum of traffic outside, which you just get used to after a week or so. We deal with extrusion systems, which is mostly technical work involving a lot of heavy parts and precise settings. The workspace is a mix of desks with computers and the actual area where the hardware is kept. It’s not a polished corporate office despite the name of the building. We’ve got blueprints pinned to the walls and coffee mugs sitting on top of manuals. Most of the team has been together for years, so there’s a lot of old jokes and a general understanding of how things run. We spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers or out on the floor checking on the assembly. Sometimes things don’t go perfectly, like a part arriving late or a drawing needing a complete rewrite, and we just deal with it as it comes. Chinchwad is a busy industrial hub, so we are surrounded by other people doing similar things. We don't bother with fancy presentations; we just show people what the systems do and let the work speak for itself. It’s a long day usually, but being near the highway makes the commute home a bit easier for most of the guys who live further out.
