We are based out of Laxmiganga Residency, right there in the Anand Nagar area of Pune. It is actually unit A-308, and we are just across the road from Suncity. Most of the time, our workspace is cluttered with wires, testers, and various spare parts. It is not a big shop on the main road, so people usually find us through neighbors or because they live in the same building complex. We do the regular electrical repairs and wiring that houses need. If a ceiling fan stops working or the fuse keeps tripping for no reason, that is what we spend our day fixing. Sometimes we are out at different houses in Pune all day and the office stays empty. That’s just the way it goes when you’re doing this kind of work. My tools are usually kept in the back of the scooter. Pune traffic can be a real mess sometimes, so we might run a few minutes late, but we always get there eventually. We have seen all sorts of messy wiring over the years. Some of these older flats have really tricky connections that take a lot of time to figure out. We just take it one job at a time. No big teams here, just a couple of us who know which wire goes where. It is pretty straightforward work, really. We keep busy enough without having to make a big fuss about things.
