Gulhali is a small place in the Tuljapur taluka, and that is where we are based. We are Rohan Builders Pvt Ltd, and our office is as simple as it gets. Tuljapur is known for the temple, but we are more focused on the dirt and the bricks around here. Being in a rural district means we know everyone and everyone knows us. We don't have a website or a big sign. Most people just walk in or call us when they see us at a site. Our workspace has a few old wooden desks and some chairs that have seen better days. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, so we usually start early in the morning before the sun is too high. We deal with all sorts of small construction jobs around the village and the nearby areas. It is not glamorous work. There is always mud on our boots and dust on our clothes. We don't have a marketing team or a mission statement. We just build walls and roofs. Sometimes the supplies are late coming from the bigger towns, and we just have to wait and have a smoke or some tea while we sit on the porch. It is a slow pace but the work is solid. We are just local guys trying to do a decent job with the tools we have and the hands we’ve got. That is the way things are done here.
