Warje is a busy place these days, especially with the Mumbai Bangalore Highway right there. We are in Building Number 8, Flat 5 at Runwal Panorama. It is a residential complex, so it feels more like a home than a stiff office. You can hear the highway traffic from the balcony, a constant hum of trucks and cars going by. We use this flat to manage our building projects. There are shoes piled up by the door and a kitchen that mostly just gets used for making tea. We are Rohan Builders India Pvt.Ltd, but we keep things very low-key. The dining table is covered in blueprints and site notes. We spend a lot of time on our phones coordinating with the guys on the ground. It is not a shiny corporate environment. We have some folders stacked in the corner and a few plastic chairs for visitors. Living and working in Warje means we are right where the action is. The hills are nearby, but we are mostly looking at concrete and steel. We don't have any marketing slogans. We just try to make sure the work gets done on time and the materials are what they should be. It’s a bit messy sometimes, with all the paperwork and the samples of tiles laying around, but that is how a real builder’s office looks. We are just regular people doing a job in Pune 58.
