Rohan Builders (I) Pvt. Ltd

Down here in Warunji, near Karad, things move a bit differently than they do in the big cities. We are Rohan Builders and we have our place set up right in the village area. Being in the Satara district means we work with a lot of local folks who have been around for generations. Our office isn't anything special to look at, just a functional room where we keep our files and meet with the guys who do the digging and the masonry. We spend a lot of time out in the sun, checking on the foundations and making sure the materials we bought from the local market are what we need. Life in Karad involves a lot of back-and-forth between the sites and the office. We deal with the power cuts and the seasonal rains that sometimes stop work for days. It is just part of the job. We don't have a marketing team or anyone to write fancy brochures for us. We just tell people what we do and then we go out and do it. Most of our day is spent making sure the levels are right and the cement is mixed properly. It’s hard work, but there is a certain satisfaction in seeing a bare piece of land turn into a proper structure. We just keep our heads down and work on whatever project is in front of us today without making a fuss.
