Our work takes us all over Maval, but our main base is at Plot No. 61/2 in the Indrayani Vidyamandir Colony. It’s out in Talegaon Dabhade, not far from the station. Being Rohan Builders & Developers Pvt.Ltd. in this part of Pune district means we deal with a lot of different people, from local workers to suppliers coming in from the city. The office is just a plain building where we keep our stuff. It’s not decorated or anything. We have some plastic chairs and a few old wooden tables where we lay out the blueprints. Talegaon has changed a lot lately, but it still feels like a small town in many ways. You can hear the trains from the station if the wind is blowing the right way. We spend a lot of our time out in the dust and sun, so the office is mainly for catching up on the boring stuff like permits and bills. It’s a bit of a drive to get into the main part of Pune, but we prefer being out here where there’s a bit more space. The rainy season is always a challenge for us, as everything turns to mud, but that’s just part of the building trade. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just build things, bit by bit, and try to make sure everything stays standing and the pipes don't leak later on.
