We are over here on Chapel Road in Hadapsar, right at 601/A. It gets pretty loud around here with the mixers going all day. If you’ve ever walked by, you probably saw the big trucks coming in and out of the yard. We’ve been at this spot for a while now, just handling the day-to-day work of getting concrete ready for different jobs. It’s not fancy work, honestly. Most of the time it’s just about making sure the machines are running and the mix looks right before it heads out. Sometimes the traffic on the road makes things a bit slow, especially during the morning rush. The guys here have their routine down, from checking the materials to cleaning out the drums. We don’t really have a big corporate office or anything like that; it’s mostly just the yard and the small workspace where we keep the logs. Most of the people who work here live nearby, so we know the Hadapsar area well. It’s dusty, and there is always something moving. You get used to the smell of wet cement after a few days. We just focus on keeping the site organized and making sure the drivers know where they are going. It’s a lot of manual stuff, checking the sand and the grit, and making sure the water levels are okay. It’s just how we spend our days here at 601/A.
