Our office is over in Vitthalwadi, right in the Varad Housing Society. We are directly opposite the State Bank of India on Sinhgad Road. If you’ve ever been stuck in the heavy traffic on Sinhgad Road, you’ve probably passed our building a dozen times. It’s a busy part of Pune, but once you get inside the society, it’s a bit calmer for us. We’ve been operating R.K.Construction from here for quite a while now. We don't have a big glass front or a fancy receptionist. It’s just a regular room where we keep our files and meet with the guys who come in from the sites. We spend a lot of time on the phone or out checking on how the walls are going up. It’s a hands-on kind of business. We aren't interested in sounding like a big multinational company. We are just local builders who know the Pune soil and the local rules. Most of our clients are people from the neighborhood or other nearby areas. We like the fact that we can just walk across the street if we need to go to the bank. It’s very convenient for us. We keep our paperwork simple and our talk even simpler. There’s no point in making things more complicated than they need to be. We just show up, do the planning, and get the actual construction done. That’s been our way for years now at this Pune address.
