We spend a lot of time at the plant in Pimpari Camp. It gets pretty loud with all the machinery running, but that is just how things are here in Pune. Most of us have been coming to this address for years now. The office isn't fancy, just desks and some old files. We deal with parts and machines every single day. Some mornings the traffic near the camp is a real mess, so we start our tea a bit late. It is a big space, and there is always something needing a fix or a check-up. We don't really do much besides the work itself. If you walk through the doors, you will see people in overalls mostly just busy with their hands. It’s hot in the summer, but the fans keep things moving. We know the neighbors around Pimpari well. It’s an industrial spot, so there’s always truck noise. We just keep our heads down and get the orders ready. There isn't any big secret to it, we just show up and do the tasks on the list. Sometimes the machines act up and we stay late to sort it out. It is steady work. We’ve seen the area change a lot over the years, with more buildings coming up everywhere. But our spot stays pretty much the same. Most of the guys live nearby, so we are a close group.
