Rex Poly Extrusion Ltd is located over at Satara Road 209. If you come by, you’ll probably hear the machines before you see the sign. We spend our days around plastic and heat. The factory floor is where most of the action happens. It’s a bit hot in there, especially during the summer months, but that's the nature of extrusion. We’ve got a small team here, most of whom have been with us for years. We aren't doing anything revolutionary, just making sure the production lines keep moving and the quality stays decent. Being on Satara Road means we get a lot of trucks coming in and out, which can be a bit of a mess for the traffic. We just try to keep things moving as efficiently as we can. There’s a lot of maintenance involved in what we do. Something is always needing a bit of oil or a part replaced. We don't have a big marketing department or a fancy lobby. Our office is just a small room with a couple of chairs and a lot of files. We focus on the daily output and making sure the orders are ready on time. At 209, we just do our job, pack the goods, and get them shipped out. It’s straightforward work for honest people. We don't mind the noise or the smell of the plastic anymore, it's just part of our routine and keeps us busy from morning till night.
