This means we spend half our time in the office looking at plans and the other half out in the field making sure the contractors are doing what they are supposed to. Chinchwad is an industrial and residential hub, so there is always some project going on. It keeps us busy. Our office is a simple place where we keep our equipment and meet for our morning briefings. We don't do any of that polished marketing stuff. We are just engineers and workers who know our trade. Sometimes a project has a lot of hiccups, and we have to stay on-site until the sun goes down to get it back on track. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s what we do. We’ve worked on all sorts of things, from small repairs to larger building jobs. We don't talk much about visions or excellence. We just talk about what needs to be fixed today and how many bags of cement we need for tomorrow. It’s honest work and we take it seriously without being too stiff about it. Most of the guys here have been around for years and we trust each other to get the job done. It's a solid group of people who just like building stuff.
