You can find us in Badlapur East at the Chamunda Villa Co. Housing Society. We are specifically in Flat No. 9 and it is right opposite the SBI Bank, which is the easiest way to tell people how to get here if they are visiting. Thane is a big district and Badlapur has its own vibe, a bit slower than central Mumbai but still pretty active most of the time. We are part of the Reliance Infrasturcture Ltd team and this flat is where we manage our local tasks and paperwork. Having the bank across the street is handy for a lot of reasons, mostly for giving directions to people who get lost looking for the society. The office is basically just a few rooms filled with desks, computers, and a lot of filing cabinets that keep us organized. We do a lot of our thinking and planning here. The atmosphere in the housing society is generally quiet during the day since most people are out at their own work. We get a bit of a breeze through the balcony sometimes which is nice in the heat. It is not a formal corporate environment where everyone wears suits every day. We are just local workers doing our bit to keep the infrastructure projects on track. We usually head home once the sun starts to go down and the trains get crowded. It is a decent place to work and we have gotten used to the rhythm of the neighborhood over the years.
