Reliance Electronics

Our place is Unit No. 26 in the Pragati Industrial Complex. It’s part of the Kothrud Industrial Estate, specifically on Plot 5 of S.No. 17/1-B. Being in an industrial estate means we are surrounded by other workshops and factories. There’s always the sound of some machine or a truck moving in the distance. We work with electronics, so our benches are usually covered in soldering irons, wires, and circuit boards. It can get a bit messy when we have a lot of repairs or assemblies going on at once. Kothrud is a well-known area in Pune, and this estate has been a base for many small businesses like ours. We don’t have a big corporate sign or a fancy reception area. You just walk in and you see us working. We spend a lot of time troubleshooting small parts and looking through magnifying glasses. The lighting has to be good, so we have plenty of overhead lamps. We get our tea from the same guy who serves all the units in this block. It’s a tight-knit community here in the complex. We help each other out if someone needs a tool or an extra hand with something heavy. It’s not glamorous, but we like the technical side of things. We just keep our heads down and focus on the electronics in front of us every day.
