Rehab India Needs is tucked away at Plot No. 56, Serial No. 55, inside the Kumar Parishad area. If you know the neighborhood in Wadgaon Sheri, you will know we are right behind Kumar Prima Vera. It is not always easy to find if it is your first time coming here, but once you see the sign, you’ll know you’re in the right spot. We deal with a lot of different equipment meant for people who need help with physical rehabilitation. The place is often filled with boxes of supplies and various mobility aids that we are putting together or checking over. It is more of a practical space than a showroom. We have people coming in from the nearby residential complexes asking about what we have in stock. The atmosphere is generally quiet compared to the main roads of Pune. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to suppliers or explaining how a certain piece of equipment works to a family member who is visiting. It is important work, but we don't make a big fuss about it. We just open up in the morning, sweep the floor, and start going through the list of what needs to be delivered or fixed. Sometimes the neighbors from Kumar Prima Vera walk by and wave. It feels like a small community even though we are just a business trying to get things done right for our visitors.
