Receptnist

I am based at Office No 304 in the Corporate Plaza building, which is located up on the 3rd floor. We are situated right on Senapati Bapat Road in the Pune 16 area. It is a very busy building in a part of the city that never seems to slow down. Working as a "receptnist" here means I am the person who greets you the moment the elevator doors open on our floor. Pune is a great city to be in, and Senapati Bapat Road has pretty much everything you could ever need, from big shops to small cafes and other offices. My desk is usually covered with sticky notes and a few pens that I hope still have ink in them. I handle all the visitors and make sure they get to the right rooms for their meetings. It involves a lot of saying hello and checking off names on my daily list. Sometimes the office gets very crowded with people waiting, and other times I am just sitting here by myself for an hour or two. I really like the view we have from the third floor, even if it is just looking out at the other office buildings and the traffic below. The Corporate Plaza is a well-known place, so people usually do not have a difficult time finding us. I try to stay as organized as I can, but sometimes things change fast. It is just a normal job in a busy Pune office.
