We are located over in Kothrud, right on Paud Road at Plot 209. Our office is on the fourth floor, and if you look out the window, you can see Pandit Bhimsen Joshi Park. It’s a nice little landmark for when people are trying to find us in Bhusari Colony. The traffic on Paud Road can be a real headache, but being on the fourth floor keeps us a little bit away from the street noise. We work on ready-mix concrete, so our phones are usually ringing with people asking about deliveries and site schedules. It’s a lot of coordination and checking the clocks. The office itself is pretty simple. We’ve got a few chairs for visitors and a bunch of files stacked up on the desks. We don’t really go in for fancy decorations. Most of the staff has been here for a while, so we’ve got a rhythm going. We know the local routes well, which is important when you're moving concrete through Pune's narrow lanes. Sometimes we have tea at the stall downstairs when things get a bit too quiet, which isn't often. We just try to keep the trucks moving and the customers informed about where their load is. It’s honest work, and we don't try to make it sound like more than it is. Just regular people doing a regular job in a busy part of the city.
