We are situated at 1392 Shukrawar Peth. This part of the city is quite old and the lanes are very narrow so parking is always a big problem for us and our visitors. We’ve been in this building for many years and it’s seen better days for sure. Inside it’s mostly just rows of shelves and a couple of old desks where we sit. We don't have air conditioning so we rely on the old ceiling fans to keep us cool during the long afternoons. It’s a busy neighborhood with lots of small shops all crammed together. You can hear the sounds of the market all day long. We know most of the people on this street and usually stop to chat when we go out for tea. Our work isn't very glamorous but it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. Sometimes we have so much stock coming in that we can barely walk through the aisles. We try to keep things organized but in an old place like this it is hard to stay perfect. We don’t have a website or any of those modern things we just do business the way it’s always been done here. If you are looking for us just ask anyone near the main temple and they can usually point the way. It is a tight squeeze but we make it work.
