You can find us over at Sayyed Nagar, specifically Lane No A 11 on Mohdwadi Road. Ramraj Sales Service Station is a place that’s always got a bit of a mess going on, which is how a service station should be if it’s actually doing any work. We are in Hadapsar, and the Pune heat can get pretty bad in the middle of the day. We have some fans, but they mostly just move the warm air around. The floor is stained with oil and there is always a dog sleeping near the entrance. We aren't trying to be a high-end showroom. We just sell what people need and fix what’s broken. My brother and I run the place with two other guys who have been with us for years. We don't have a receptionist, so if the phone rings, whoever is closest to it picks it up with dirty hands. It’s a lot of manual labor and standing on your feet all day. We see a lot of the same customers from the neighborhood. They know we don't charge for things they don't need. It’s just a straightforward business. We don't have a mission statement on the wall, just a calendar from three years ago and some old tools. It’s honest, it’s loud, and it’s how we’ve made our way in Hadapsar for a long time. Some days are harder than others, but we keep the doors open.
