Rakhi Enterprise

Our workplace is in the Anusaya Sadan Building. We are right at Jijabai Kalokhe Chowk in Shaniwar Peth. It’s a very old part of the city, near the Shaniwar Wada fort. You can feel the history in the streets around here. The building we are in is quite old too, with those steep stairs and thick walls. We have a simple office setup for our enterprise. It’s mostly desks, chairs, and some metal cupboards for our papers. We don't have any fancy air conditioning, just the ceiling fans that hum all day long. We deal with various business tasks and have people dropping by throughout the day. The chowk outside is always full of activity and noise. Sometimes it's hard to find a place to park a scooter, so we just walk if we can. We moved here years ago when the area was a bit quieter. We know the shopkeepers next door and the people who live upstairs quite well. Lunch is usually a tiffin from home or something quick from a nearby eatery. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just a handful of us doing the work. We keep the doors open when it's not too dusty outside. It's a humble way to work, but it suits the neighborhood. We finish our work and lock the heavy wooden door every evening. It's just a regular local business life for us in the city. There is always something interesting happening near the Wada.
