Rajkumar Bajiraoji Baviskar

I’ve been working out of Vishrantwadi for a good while now, specifically over at C/8/3 on the Surat Kamrej Road. My name is Rajkumar Bajiraoji Baviskar, and this is pretty much a one-man show most of the time, or at least a very small team of us. Being located on the road toward Kamrej means there is always a lot of traffic passing by, mostly trucks and people heading out of the city. My workspace is simple. I don’t have any fancy decorations or a big staff to answer the phones. If you call, you usually get me directly on the line. I do a bit of everything related to my trade, whether it’s checking on a site or dealing with the paperwork that comes with this kind of work. Vishrantwadi is a place I know well, and I’ve seen it develop quite a bit over the years. It’s not always easy running things on your own, especially when you have to be in two places at once. I spend a lot of my time driving between different spots and making sure things are moving along as they should. Sometimes the office at C/8/3 is just a place to catch up on notes and take a breather before heading out again. It’s a practical way of working. I don’t believe in making things more complicated than they need to be. I just show up, do the work, and try to make sure everything is done correctly before moving to the next job.
