We are located at Gat No. 30 in Retewadi, which is on the outskirts of Pune. It’s a bit away from the main city rush, which actually makes it easier for people to get to us without dealing with the heavy Pune traffic. The area around Retewadi is still quite open, and you can see the hills in the distance on a clear day. Our office is a practical space, built to handle the daily tasks of a Nidhi company. We have a lot of shelf space for the big folders we use to keep everyone’s records safe. It’s not a high-tech setup; we use computers for some things but we still like our paper backups. The staff here are all from around this area, so we speak the same way as the people who walk in. We don't have a receptionist in a uniform or anything like that. Usually, you just walk in and someone will look up from their desk and help you out. We spend our time checking the Gat numbers and making sure all the regulations are followed. It’s a lot of routine work, but it’s necessary for the community. The wind blows quite hard across the open ground here, so we have to make sure the doors are latched properly. It’s a good, honest place to work and we are happy to be here doing this every day.
