About Rajesh Tatu Architects & Interior Designer – Architect, Interior & Structural Design in Pune
Our workspace is over in Wakad, specifically in unit F-102. It’s a busy little office because we handle both the architectural side of things and the interior design parts too. This means our desks aren't just covered in blueprints; they’re also piled high with fabric swatches, tile samples, and catalogs for light fixtures. Rajesh is usually right in the middle of it all, trying to find a specific paint chip or talking to a carpenter on the phone. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes when we have a lot of materials delivered at once. We’ve been in Wakad for a while now and have seen the area change quite a bit around us. The office itself is functional and straightforward. We have a small area where we sit down with people to look over sketches, but mostly it's just a place for us to grind through the daily tasks of designing spaces. There’s always a faint smell of wood shavings or glue because we’re often making small models or looking at material mock-ups. It’s not the quietest office, as there’s usually a lot of discussion going on about which layout works best for a specific room. We don't put on an act for anyone who walks in; they just see us as we are, usually elbow-deep in a project. It’s a lot of work but we enjoy seeing how the pieces come together.
