Rajendra Kore Architect

Our office is tucked away at Akurdi B/10. It is a quiet enough place to get some actual work done without too many distractions. Rajendra Kore spends most of his time here sketching out layouts or checking on site updates. We don’t have any flashy signs or a big corporate lobby. It is just a regular room with a couple of drafting tables and a lot of pens that always seem to go missing. Sometimes clients just drop in to see how things are going and we pull up a plastic chair for them. The desk is usually covered in site photos and half-finished notes. We handle the paperwork and the technical bits that people usually don't want to deal with themselves. It’s a lot of staring at screens and measuring twice to make sure everything fits right. Some days are slow and we just sit around talking about building materials or the weather in Akurdi. Other days we are running late and trying to finish five things at once. We like being part of the local community here. You get used to the sounds of the neighborhood after a while. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. We just work on buildings and try to make sure the walls end up in the right place. It is a simple setup but it works for us. We just keep our heads down and get through the drawings one at a time.
