Rajeev Machine Tools

Getting to Rajeev Machine Tools can be a bit of a trick because of the way the estate is laid out. We are at 2 Bhosari Reddys Estate, over in the BEML Layout 3rd Stage of Rajarajeshwarinagar. If you look for the Reliance Fresh, we are pretty much opposite that, near the Raskar Estate area. It’s a good landmark because everyone knows where the grocery store is. Our workshop is filled with machines that have seen a lot of use. We spend our hours maintaining them and making parts for people who come in from all over the area. It’s a dusty place, mostly because of the grinding work we do. I usually wear an old shirt that I don't mind getting ruined. My hands are almost always stained with some kind of industrial oil. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to make sure the tools we put out are solid and do what they’re supposed to do. The guys working here have been around for a long time, so we don't have to talk much to know what needs to be done next. We listen to the radio while we work, usually some old songs to keep the mood light. When the sun starts to go down, we clean the machines, sweep the floor, and lock up the heavy gates. It’s a long day, but it feels good to finish a project. We don't bother with fancy offices or anything like that.
