Our shop is out in the Bhosari Industrial Estate, specifically in Phase III of the Paras Industrial Estate. It’s a bit of a drive from the main city, but this is where all the factories are. We stay busy because there’s always someone needing a specific tool or a piece of hardware for their machines. Shop No 3 is where we spend most of our lives. It’s a dusty area with a lot of trucks moving around, so we are constantly cleaning the counters. We carry a lot of heavy-duty tools that you won’t find in a regular hardware store. It’s mostly industrial stuff for the workers in the General Block. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon and we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back. We aren't trying to be anything special, just a place where you can get your tools without a fuss. The inventory is huge and sometimes I forget where we put the smaller drill bits. But we find them eventually. Dealing with the MIDC rules and the daily commute can be tiring, but we like the people who work around here. They are hard-working folks just like us. We keep the shop open late because sometimes a factory shift needs something urgently. That’s just how things work in an industrial zone.
