We are located in Kothrud, Pune, which is a part of the city that never seems to stop moving. Our business is Raaj Scaffolding, and as the name suggests, we deal with all the metal poles and boards used in construction. Our yard is usually quite full of steel, and there’s a lot of clanging sounds throughout the day as we load up the trucks. It’s honest, heavy work that keeps us active. We don't have a big corporate headquarters with glass windows or fancy carpets. Our office is just a small corner where we keep the ledger and answer the phone. Pune has grown so much lately, so there are always new buildings going up around us. We try to keep our equipment in good shape, though things get a bit rusty and muddy during the heavy monsoon rains. Most of our guys have been doing this for a long time and know exactly how to handle the materials safely. We don’t spend money on big advertisements or anything like that. People in the neighborhood just know we are here when they need scaffolding for a project. It’s a simple setup. We spend most of our time out in the yard or at different job sites around the city. We aren't fancy talkers, we just provide the gear that helps other people reach high places to do their work.
