R Shah &Associates

You can find R Shah & Associates over at 203/A. We are situated on Nagindas Master Road, near Paud Road. It’s a busy intersection and there’s always noise from the street coming through the windows. We’ve been in this building for quite a while. The office has that old-school feel with heavy wooden desks and stacks of folders everywhere. We don't use much fancy software if a pen and paper can do the job just as well. It’s a small group of us here. We spend a lot of time going through documents and talking to people who drop by with questions. It’s not a place where you’ll find people in expensive suits. We dress comfortably because the Mumbai heat doesn't care about fashion. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, so we just wait it out or work by the window light. We know the courier guy by name because he’s here every day. The tea lady brings us a tray in the morning and afternoon. It’s those little routines that keep the day moving. We don't have a grand vision; we just want to make sure the work we do today is done right. It’s a simple business located in a part of town that feels like home to us. We’ve seen the shops around us change over the years, but we’re still here in 203/A. The ceiling fan wobbles a bit when it's on high speed, but it has never fallen yet, so we just let it be.
