R R Prasad Dental Clinic is up on the second floor of a building on Pimpri Station Road. We are right above Gokul Hotel, so the smell of food often drifts up the stairs during lunch hours. Being near the Pimpri station means there are always people rushing by outside. You have to walk up the stairs to get to us, which is a bit of exercise for everyone. The clinic itself is simple. We have the dental chair, the cabinets full of supplies, and a small area where people can sit and wait their turn. We see a lot of local workers and families from the Pimpri area. Most of the time, the radio is playing softly in the background to cover the sound of the dental equipment. It’s a small operation, so you usually see the same faces every time you come in. We spend a lot of time cleaning the equipment and making sure the sink area is tidy. The windows look out over the busy street, and you can see the commuters coming and going from the trains. It gets quite dusty because of all the activity on Pimpri Station Road, so we are always wiping down the surfaces. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who have been working together for a while. It’s a practical place to get your teeth fixed without any extra fuss. We just do our work and head home when the last patient is finished.
