R R Glass is situated in the New Timber Market area of Bhawani Peth, specifically at Plot No 54 in Kondhwa Budruk. Being in the timber market means it’s always loud with saws and trucks moving all day long. We fit right in with our glass sheets and cutting tables. We spend our time measuring out glass for windows, doors, and tabletops. It’s precise work, and if you mess up by a couple of millimeters, the whole piece is useless, so we try to pay attention even when it’s noisy outside. The shop is full of glass scraps and the smell of cutting oil. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting room; you just walk in and talk to whoever is holding the glass cutter. We’ve seen the market change over the years, but we just keep doing our thing at plot 54. Some days are slow and we just sit around cleaning the tools, and other days we have more work than we can handle. We don't have a big corporate structure or fancy titles. We’re just workers who know how to handle glass without getting cut too often. It’s a practical business and we like the location because everyone knows where the New Timber Market is. We just show up, do the jobs that come in, and go home. You either need glass or you don’t, and if you do, we’re here to cut it for you.
