R K Auto Garage is situated at 65/84/5 in Raviwar Peth. If you’ve ever been through this area, you know how packed it can get. We’ve been running this garage for a long time, and the building shows its age a bit, but it’s sturdy. We mostly work on engines and general car repairs. There is always a smell of petrol and old oil in the air here. We don't have a waiting room with a TV or anything like that. Usually, customers just stand around and chat with us while we work or they leave their keys and come back later. It’s a busy life in Raviwar Peth. We’ve got cars lined up most mornings, and we work through them one by one. It’s just a small crew of us. We learned the trade from our elders and just kept the shop going. We don't use any high-tech diagnostic computers unless we really have to; mostly we just listen to the engine and figure it out. It’s a bit messy, and there are tools everywhere, but we know where everything is. We take pride in just getting the car back on the road. We aren't looking to become a huge chain. We like being the local spot where people can get their vehicles fixed without a lot of drama. Sometimes the rain leaks in a bit, but we just put a bucket under it and keep on working. It is just part of the job. Most days we are covered in dirt by noon but that is how it goes.
