R H More Constructions is based out of a small place in Parvati Gaon, at number 22. It’s not a corporate office with glass walls or anything like that. It’s mostly just a spot where we keep our tools, some bags of cement, and the old truck we use for hauling. The neighborhood is fairly quiet, which is a nice change from the actual construction sites we work on. Most of the guys on the crew have been working together for years. We know how each other works without having to say much. Usually, we meet up here early in the morning, load up the gear, and head out to wherever the project is. By the time we get back in the evening, we’re usually too tired for much else besides putting the equipment away. The office part is just a desk with a lot of blueprints and some old coffee mugs. We don't spend much time there unless we’re trying to figure out a quote or looking at a site plan. There’s a big tree out front that gives some good shade in the afternoons. Sometimes we sit out there and talk about the jobs we’ve finished. We don't really have a big philosophy about building. We just follow the plans and make sure the walls are straight. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy through the seasons.
