Pyramid Ice Cream

If you head over to Bibwewadi Road in the Naya Mohalla area, Pyramid Ice Cream is right there. We are near the Big Bajar and almost directly opposite the Balekar Lawn. This makes our location quite busy, especially on the weekends when people are out shopping or attending events at the lawn. We see a lot of different faces coming through the door, from kids after school to wedding guests looking for a quick treat. The shop is a basic setup where the main focus is just keeping the ice cream frozen and the service moving along. We have a few tables, but most people just grab something and go. Running an ice cream place means we are always worried about power cuts or the fridge doors being left open too long. We spend a lot of time mopping the floor because it gets dirty fast with so many people walking in from the street. It is a lot of work to keep everything stocked and ready, especially during the summer months when the demand goes way up. We don't do anything fancy with the decor; we just keep it clean and functional. Being across from Balekar Lawn is interesting because we get to see all the lights and hear the music from the parties while we work. It is just a normal neighborhood ice cream shop doing what it does every day on Bibwewadi Road.
