Pushkraj Bags

We've been here at Mauli Apartment for a while now. Pushkraj Bags is basically just a small spot in the New Gidc Katargram area of Kasba Peth where we deal with all sorts of bags. Most days it’s just us working through the orders or talking to people who walk in looking for something sturdy. It gets pretty busy around here, especially with the traffic in Kasba Peth, but we like the spot. We started out just doing a few things, but now the space is pretty much filled with materials and finished stuff. It’s not a fancy showroom or anything like that. You just come in, see what we have on the shelves, and we figure it out from there. Sometimes the stitching machines are going all day, so it gets a bit noisy inside the apartment unit. We try to keep things organized but when a big shipment comes in, there’s stuff everywhere. People from around the neighborhood know where we are. We don't really do much advertising, mostly just word of mouth from folks who’ve bought a bag here before. If you’re around the Gidc area, you might have seen our sign. It’s a straightforward setup. We focus on getting the work done and making sure the bags hold up. Nothing more to it than that. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but we’re still right here in the same building doing the same thing every morning. It’s a lot of work but it keeps us busy. Sometimes we run out of space for all the fabric rolls, so we have to move things around just to walk through the shop in Mauli Apartment.
