Prudential Shipping Agencies Pv. Ltd.

We are based in Pashan, at the Shivalay Co-op Housing Society. It is on Sus Road, which most people in Pune know is a very long stretch of road. Our office is Flat 402 in the Venkatesh-2 wing. Shipping is a 24-hour business, even if we are not always sitting at our desks for that long. We handle a lot of the back-end agency work here. There is a lot of coordinating with ports and trucks and talking to people across different time zones. It can get pretty stressful when a shipment is delayed for some reason. We have got stacks of folders and several computers that seem to be always running. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so it is a bit quieter than being in the city center, which we really appreciate. Sometimes the society meetings downstairs get a bit loud, but otherwise, it is a good place to work. We started small and just kept going as the years went by. We do not have a big front desk or a receptionist to greet you. Usually, one of us just gets up to answer the door when someone knocks. It is a practical setup for us. We handle the documents and the bookings and all the little details that keep the ships moving across the ocean. Every day is a bit different depending on what is happening at the docks or with the customs office. We like the challenge of it all. It is just us, doing our thing on Sus Road every day.
