Progressive Civil Construction

Progressive Civil Construction is our local business based out of Murgud in the Kolhapur area. It’s a small town where everyone kind of knows each other, which makes working here feel a bit different than the big cities. We handle civil work, which mostly means we spend our time on dusty sites or looking at plans on a makeshift table. We aren't a massive firm with hundreds of workers. It’s a smaller team, and we all know how to get our hands dirty when a project is in full swing. Being in Kolhapur, we deal with the local weather and the specific ways people like to build things around here. Some days are just spent driving between sites and making sure the materials arrived on time. It can be stressful when a truck is late or the rain starts pouring down unexpectedly, but that is just part of the construction life. We don’t have a flashy office with leather chairs. Our space is more about folders, rolls of paper, and muddy boots by the door. We’ve been doing this for a while and we just try to be honest about what can be done and how long it will take. People come to us because they know we are right here in Murgud and won't disappear. It is hard work, but there is something good about seeing a wall go up where there was nothing before. It keeps us busy and we like the challenge.
