Our office for Progressive Civil Construction Company is actually located up in Khandala, specifically on the Old Khandala Road. We are in the Rustic Highlands area, which is part of Maval in the Pune district. It’s a bit of a climb to get up here, but the air is definitely better than down in the crowded parts of the city. Even though the name mentions Navimumbai, we do a lot of our coordination from this spot. The office isn't anything too special, just a place where we keep our records and meet up before heading out to various construction sites. Working in the hills presents its own set of challenges, especially during the monsoon season when everything gets slippery and damp. We’ve had to learn how to manage projects in this terrain over the years. It’s a lot of logistical planning and talking to suppliers on the phone. We don't really go for the polished corporate look. You’ll usually find us in sturdy shoes and jackets because it gets cool up here. We take our work seriously, but we don't feel the need to use big words or act like we are some giant international corporation. We are just a local company trying to build things right in the Pune and Maval area. It takes a lot of patience to deal with the mountain roads and the local regulations, but we’ve managed to stay busy and keep things moving.
