Privilege Furniture

Our shop is on the ground floor of Sai Palace, right there in Bhusari Colony. If you know the Paud Road area in Kothrud, you know how busy it gets with all the traffic and people moving around. We’ve been at Privilege Furniture for a good bit now, mostly spending our days moving chairs and tables into different spots to show them off. It’s not a huge place, so things get a bit cramped when a new shipment comes in. You’ll often find us with a measuring tape in hand, trying to figure out if a wardrobe will actually fit into someone’s small apartment. We don’t use those fancy sales tactics you see at the big mall stores. If a drawer sticks a bit, we tell you about it. We’re just a group of people who like wood and fabric. Most of the day is spent talking to neighbors who wander in just to see what’s new or to ask for advice on fixing an old leg on a stool. The lighting isn’t always perfect in the back of the showroom, and sometimes the dust settles on the glass cabinets before we can wipe it down again. It’s just how a real furniture shop feels. We like being part of the Kothrud community. It feels good when someone comes back years later because their dining set is still holding up well. We just keep things simple and practical around here.
