Princy Memorial Foundation

Our foundation, Princy Memorial, is located in Shop No. 30 at Karan Bazar. You can find us in Somnath Nagar, which is part of the Wadgaonsheri area in Pune. The address is Sr No.36/1/1/1/1, and it’s a bit of a walk from the main road. Once you find Karan Bazar, we are right there. Having a shop front makes it easy for people to just walk in and talk to us. We aren't tucked away in some high-rise building. We are right there on the street level where the action is. We started this because we saw a lot of things in Wadgaonsheri that needed attention. It’s just a few of us running the show, so we handle everything from cleaning the shop to talking to the local authorities. We don't have much in the way of fancy furniture. Just some chairs and a table where we plan our next steps. The market area can be quite noisy during the day, but it keeps us on our toes. We spend a lot of our time coordinating with volunteers who want to help out. We don't use a lot of technical terms or try to sound like experts. We are just people who care about Pune and want to do something useful with our time. Some weeks are slower than others, but we keep the doors open for anyone who needs us.
