Our shop is out in Hadapsar, specifically in the Swami Vivekanand Industrial Estate. It’s number 89 if you’re looking for it. We’ve been working with gauges and fixtures for quite some time. It's precise work, like the name says, but the atmosphere here is pretty relaxed. We aren't a massive factory, just a group of people who know how to handle measuring tools and metal fixtures. The road out here at Sasane Nagar can be a bit of a climb during monsoon, but we’re always here. Being on Handewadi Road helps with getting materials in and out. We spend most of our time at the workbenches. It's dusty and noisy, but that's how industrial estates are. We make things that help other companies measure their parts correctly. There’s no big marketing team here, just us. We handle the drawings and the machines ourselves. Most of the guys have been with us since we opened. We drink a lot of tea and talk about the day's tasks. It's a simple setup. We don't use fancy software for everything, sometimes the old ways of checking a gauge work just as well. We just try to make sure everything we send out is actually right. If it’s not right, we fix it. That’s basically the whole story of Precision Gauges & Fixtures. It’s just what we do every morning when we open the shutters and get to work.
