Pravin Tools

Pravin Tools is tucked away in Wadheshwar Nagar, over in the Vadgoensheri area. It’s a bit of a maze to get here if you don’t know the streets well. We are at 49/2. The shop is small and filled with all kinds of tools. Some are new, some are used. It’s the kind of place where you have to look around a bit to find what you want. I’ve been running this place for a while now. My son helps out when he isn't at school. We have a lot of regular customers who live nearby and just need something for a home project or their own small business. The walls are lined with pegboards, and we try to keep things in some kind of order, but it doesn’t always stay that way. It gets pretty warm in the summer, so we have a couple of old fans that make a lot of noise. We don't do anything fancy like online sales or big marketing. People just walk in, tell us what they need, and we see if we can help. It’s a simple life and a simple business. We like being part of the neighborhood here in Vadgoensheri. It feels like home to us. We just keep the door open and wait for whoever needs a wrench or a hammer to stop by. Sometimes we just sit and drink tea until a customer arrives.
