Prateek Screen Arts is tucked away in the Kute Complex on Peddar Road in Akurdi. If you’re looking for us, we’re right near the Hanuman Mandir, which makes it easy to give directions to anyone who hasn’t been here before. We spend our days working with inks, screens, and various materials to get things printed. It’s a bit of a messy job sometimes, with paint on our hands and the smell of drying ink in the air, but we enjoy the process. The complex can get quite busy during the day, especially with the temple nearby, but we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the neighborhood. We aren't a corporate giant; it's just a local shop where we pay attention to the small things. Our space in Akurdi is filled with tables and frames. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing team. Most people find us because they walked past or a neighbor told them about our work. We take the orders as they come and try to finish them without rushing too much, because rushing usually leads to mistakes. Peddar Road is a good spot for us, and being part of the Kute Complex feels like home. We’ve been doing this for years, and we plan to stay right here, keeping things simple and just focusing on the art of screen printing for whoever walks through the door. It is a steady way to spend the day and help local folks with their designs.
