Prachay Foundation

Our space is Office No. 309 over at City Square. If you are familiar with Shivaji Nagar, you know how busy it gets around Bhamburda. We are tucked away on the third floor. The elevator works most of the time, but some of us just take the stairs if we aren't carrying anything heavy. Prachay Foundation has been running out of this unit for a bit now. It is a decent-sized room with enough space for our files and a few workstations. You can hear the city noise from the window, especially during rush hour when the traffic on the main road starts piling up. It’s not a quiet place, but we’ve gotten used to the sound of horns and people talking downstairs. We don't have any big signs or flashy lights outside. It is just a plain door with our name on a small plate. Inside, it's pretty much what you'd expect from a working office. We have a small table for visitors to sit at, though it’s usually covered in notebooks and stray pens. There’s a guy who brings around snacks in the mid-afternoon, which is usually the highlight of the day. We spend most of our time here just going through paperwork and making calls. It’s a practical location for us since it’s central. We like being in the middle of everything even if it means it is a bit hectic most days of the week.
