Power Electronics

At Power Electronics, we are based out in Talawade at Gate No 400, Hissa No 14. We are quite close to the Shantai Hotel, which is the main landmark people use to find us. This area is more industrial, so there’s always a lot of trucks and noise from the nearby units. We spend our time here working on various electronic components and boards. It’s the kind of work that requires a lot of sitting and focusing on small parts. The workshop is functional and a bit old-fashioned. We don’t have a lot of decorations on the walls, just the tools and the benches where we sit. It can get pretty warm in the afternoons, but we keep the fans going and just get on with it. We’ve been here for several years, and we know the other business owners on this stretch of road. We don't really have a big sales team or anything like that. Usually, it's just one of us answering the door if someone drops by. Most of our work is for other local companies that need specific repairs or parts put together. We just try to be reliable and keep our tools in good shape. It’s a steady job and we like being out here in Talawade where there’s enough space for us to work without being on top of each other. We just lock up when the sun goes down.
