We’ve got our setup at Gat No. 400, Hissa No. 14, out on Dehu Alandi Road in Talawade. This part of Pune is quite industrial, so we fit right in with the other workshops and plants around here. Being in Talawade means we have a bit more space than we would in the city center, which is good because we deal with power electronics that can be quite bulky. The building is a simple structure, nothing fancy, just enough space for the assembly benches and the storage racks. We spend our days mostly testing equipment or putting together units for local factories. The road outside can get pretty clogged with trucks, especially in the mornings, so we’ve learned to plan our deliveries carefully. Inside, it’s mostly the sound of cooling fans and the occasional hum of a transformer. We are a small team, and most of us have been working together for a long time. We eat lunch together in the small break area we set up in the corner. It’s not a corporate environment; we wear work clothes and don’t mind getting our hands dirty if a machine needs fixing. We focus on getting the technical details right because that’s what matters in this line of work. It’s a quiet existence for the most part, just steady work and making sure we meet our deadlines without making a big fuss about it. We like being out here where we can just focus on the job.
