We are based in Nigdi, which is a well-known area in Pune for industrial activity. It makes sense for us to be here given what we do with steel. The office is straightforward. We don't have anything that isn't necessary. You’ll find desks, computers, and a lot of technical manuals. The noise from the nearby roads is always there in the background. We spend our hours tracking orders and making sure the processing side is moving along without too many hitches. It’s not a glamorous job. There’s a lot of double-checking numbers and talking to people at the factories. We have a small team, so we all know each other's habits. We usually take our lunch together and talk about whatever is on the news. We don't have any polished speeches about what we do. We just process steel and handle the business side of it. Sometimes things go wrong with a delivery, and we have to spend the afternoon on the phone sorting it out. That’s just part of the deal. We keep it simple and try to be practical about everything. It’s a busy life but it’s what we know. We aren't looking to be the biggest or the flashiest, just reliable enough to get the work done right. Most of us have been in this industry for years, so it’s second nature by now.
