We are over in Pune at 635/83 Kalpadruma. It is located in Sadashiv Peth, inside the Vijayanagar Colony. If you know Pune, you know the Peth areas are the heart of the old city. It is very crowded and the lanes are narrow. Our building, Kalpadruma, is where we spend our days. It is a traditional spot, not like the new IT parks in Hinjewadi. We have been here for years. The atmosphere is very Maharashtrian, with lots of small shops and old houses all around. We get our work done in a space that feels lived-in. There are books and files everywhere. It is a bit cramped sometimes, but it has character. The afternoon slump is real here, but a quick walk to get some coffee nearby usually fixes it. We deal with people from all over, but our base is very much rooted in this colony. You can hear the bells from the local temples and the sound of scooters constantly passing by. It is a lively place to be. We do not go for the corporate look. We prefer being where the action is. The address 411030 is home to us. It is a practical office for practical work. We are just a group of people working out of a historic part of town, keeping things moving every day.
