Down in Ganesh Peth, over at Plot No 6-B, is where we run Polestar Auto Services Llp. We’re right near Dulya Maruti Mandir, so people use the temple as a landmark to find us. It’s a busy area and the street is always full of life. Inside the workshop, it’s mostly the smell of grease and the sound of metal hitting metal. We handle all sorts of car issues, from basic oil changes to stuff that takes a few days to figure out. The guys working here have been at it for a long time, so they don't need much instruction. We just get on with the job. The floor is usually covered in tools and parts that we’ve taken out of engines. It’s not a place for someone who’s afraid of getting some dirt on their clothes. We have regular customers who have been bringing their cars to us for years. They trust us to tell them what’s actually wrong without any nonsense. We don't have a big office or anything. Most of our business is done right there on the shop floor or standing out by the gate. Sometimes it gets stressful when we have too many cars and not enough space, but we always find a way to make it work. It’s just a regular local garage doing honest work for the people around Ganesh Peth. We keep at it every day and try to finish up on time.
