Pokar Construction

Down here in Daund, Pune, you will find us working on various local sites. Pokar Construction is a small operation, mostly just a handful of us who have lived in this area for a long time. We do a lot of the hands-on work ourselves. The office is really just a small room where we keep our tools and some dusty ledgers. We don’t have a big fancy website or a marketing team. Most people just call us or stop by when they see us out working. Construction in Pune can be tough with the weather, especially when the rains hit, but we manage. We’ve seen the town change a lot over the years, and we’ve had a hand in a few of the buildings you see around here. Sometimes we run into delays with materials or the truck breaks down, but that’s just life in this business. We try to be fair and just do what we said we’d do. There’s no corporate talk here; we just speak plain English and tell it like it is. Usually, our boots are muddy and our clothes have some cement on them by noon. It’s not an easy way to make a living, but it keeps us busy and we like being outdoors. We just take things as they come and try to finish one project before jumping into the next one. We hope to stay part of this community for a long time.
